Storm Smart Building Systems Named as Top Ten Manufacturer

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA: The Economic Development Office of Lee County has released an updated list of the 50 largest manufacturers in Lee County, across all industries.

Storm Smart Building Systems, Inc., founded in 1996, was listed as the ninth largest manufacturer in Lee County. Brian Rist, President of Storm Smart, states “We attribute our tremendous growth in the past few years to our incredibly talented and dedicated team of over 150 employees, who have enabled us to react quickly to increased market demands due to recent hurricane activity levels”.

Storm Smart was the highest ranking Hurricane Protection Product Company on the list. Also contributing to their dramatic growth has been the introduction of the Storm Catcher Wind Abatement Hurricane Screen, of which Storm Smart has preferential distribution rights in Lee County.
