Steel Panels – Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County approved steel storm panels are available in 24-gauge Mill Certified structural grade E-G-60 galvanized steel with yield strength of 90 -105KSI. Our panels have been redesigned and re-tested to provide customers with lighter, higher-strength panels than those made of some heavier, softer material.
Aluminum Panels – Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County approved high-strength aluminum alloy storm panels are available in .050 & .060 thickness in white or mill finish aluminum.
Panel Mounting Structure – With the choice or combination of a wide variety of structures, we can design your installation to be more aesthetically pleasing and easier to install than other panel systems. We offer both permanent and removable ceiling and wall mount header tracks, wall and floor mount sill tracks in a variety of shapes and sizes, plus permanent and removable track fasteners, all with corrosive resistant materials and finishes. Also, our optional, code-approved emergency escape panel provides the ability to protect you inside your home knowing that you can get out if you have to.
Testing Standards – All Storm Smart storm panel systems have been tested to and have passed ASTM protocols E330, E1886, E1996-02 as well as meeting protocols PA/TAS 201, 202, and 203.
