Just a note to say thank you for the outstanding job Storm Smart did on manufacturing and installing the protection to my home on Marco Island.

We survived hurricane Wilma and hurricane Irma without protection and were very lucky that no breach to our home occurred during both storms. I was not willing to gamble we could survive another hurricane like Irma without the protection afforded by Storm Smart’s products. In talking to you on the phone, I was convinced that Storm Smart was the only company to choose to provide the protection I needed.

The quality of the shutters and screens that we ordered was second to none. The workmanship in the manufacture and the substantial quality of the finished product was the best that I have ever seen. I choose Storm Smart because of the reputation that Brian has in the industry and because of his unwavering support of first responders and law enforcement personnel.

The communication and information I received from all employees I talked to on the phone was exceptional. I truly believe every one of them had my best interest at heart. The installation was rapid and flawless. When Jose arrived to do the installation, I was concerned that he was all alone. I offered to help him do the installation, but he advised that would not be necessary. I was concerned that the feels like temperature outside was reported at 106 degrees F. Jose’s workmanship was outstanding. He was able to solve installation problems caused by external fixtures on the house and size difficulties with improper measurements.

He was concerned that one of the shutters was over-sized due to improper measurement recording. Although he said he would replace the shutter, we agreed that since it did not impede the function of the shutter there was no need to make a new one.

Jose’s craftsmanship and extensive knowledge of how to correct misalignments and installation techniques was phenomenal. As good as his installation and mechanical skills were, his ability to communicate with the customer was unbelievable. Jose was able to explain what he was doing and answered all questions I had regarding the use of the shutter systems. When a situation arose that required my input as to what method should be used to solve an installation problem, Jose was outstanding in explaining the problem and resolving the problem to my satisfaction.

After retiring from law enforcement, I went to work as a field tech representative for Anderson Windows of Bayport, Minnesota. My job was to inspect and repair improperly installed windows and doors sold by Anderson Distributors. Prior to moving to the Regional Sales Department in New Jersey, I conducted many installation training seminars in the Tristate area. Jose’s skill sets and communication skills are superior to anyone I have ever met in the industry. You are lucky to have him on your excellent staff of employees.
